Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Nimbus ("we" and "us"). They cover the Nimbus app, your Nimbus account, Nimbus plans and this website. When you use Nimbus, you agree to them.

Our privacy policy says what data Nimbus collects and where it goes.

Nimbus is early software

Nimbus is in alpha. It has bugs. Features can change or stop. We give you Nimbus as it is and as it is available.

The agent can make mistakes. Check its work before you rely on it. Check what it entered before you submit a form, pay or send a message.

A feature marked "Coming soon" is not part of your plan until it ships.

Your account

You need no account for the browser and its agent. You need one for Pro, a trial or a founding membership.

• Sign in with an email address that is yours.
• Keep your sign-in safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• Do not make more accounts to get more trials.

Plans and billing

The Free plan costs nothing. It needs no card and no account. Pro and Team are subscriptions, paid monthly or yearly. The prices are on our pricing page, in US dollars.

Dodo Payments is our merchant of record. It sells Nimbus plans to you as the seller, takes the payment and handles the tax. The Dodo Payments Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.

A subscription renews at the end of each period, and Dodo Payments charges your card for the next period. It renews until you cancel it.

The free trial

• You can try Pro free for 14 days.
• You start the trial on our website or in the app, at a Dodo Payments checkout. You add a card there. You pay $0 that day.
• When the trial ends, the plan you picked starts, and Dodo Payments charges your card. Pro is $20 a month or $192 a year.
• Cancel at least 2 days before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
• There is one trial per person. A trial that you cancel counts too.
• A trial has every Pro feature, but no Nimbus credits.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time. In the app, open Settings, then Account, then Manage subscription. If you cancel after the trial, your plan stays on until the end of the period you paid for. You are not charged again.

Refunds

If you think a charge is wrong, write to us at anil@usenimbus.app. We will work it out with you. Dodo Payments makes refunds under its Buyer Terms.

Changes to prices

We may change our prices. We will tell you before a new price applies to your subscription. It applies from your next billing period.

Nimbus credits

Nimbus credits are not on sale yet. We will add their terms here before they are.

Founding members

The first 500 people who joined our waitlist are founding members. They keep every Pro feature for good, at no cost. They need no card and no trial.

• To claim it, sign in to the app with the email address you used on the waitlist. That address must be verified at sign-in.
• A founding membership is for you alone. You cannot pass it to someone else.
• It has no monthly Nimbus credits.

The Nimbus app

Nimbus is not open source. We own the app and its code. We give you a personal licence to install and use Nimbus on your own computers, under these terms. The licence ends when these terms end for you.

Do not copy, sell, rent or share the app, and do not take it apart to get around plans, trials or payments, except where the law allows it.

Nimbus includes open-source parts, such as Electron and Chromium. Each keeps its own licence, and the app carries those licences.

How you may use Nimbus

Do not use Nimbus to:

• break the law;
• harass, deceive or harm other people;
• send spam, or attack or overload a website or a service;
• get into accounts or data that you are not allowed to use;
• attack our servers, or get around plans, trials or payments.

The agent acts for you. You are responsible for what it does on the sites where you direct it. Follow the terms of those sites, including their rules about automated use.

If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account.

Your content and your keys

• What you browse, type and keep in Memory is yours. We claim no rights to it.
• Your API keys and your ChatGPT subscription are yours. Nimbus uses them only to call the provider they belong to. You follow that provider's terms, and you pay that provider for what you use.
• Answers from an AI model can be wrong. Check them before you rely on them.
• If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them. We owe you nothing for them.

Other services

Nimbus works with services that we do not run: the websites you visit, the AI provider you choose, Dodo Payments, WorkOS and GitHub. Their own terms apply to them. We are not responsible for them.

Warranties and liability

As far as the law allows, we give Nimbus without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will work without errors or without stops, or that it fits a purpose of yours.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. That includes lost data, lost profits, and what the agent did on a site where you directed it.

As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for Nimbus in the 12 months before the claim.

Some laws do not allow these limits. Where such a law applies, these limits apply only as far as it allows.

Ending

You can stop using Nimbus at any time. To delete your account, write to us. We may stop offering Nimbus or a part of it. If we stop a paid plan, we will tell you before your next charge.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will change the date at the top when we do. If a change matters to you, we will tell you before it applies. When you use Nimbus after a change, you agree to the new terms.

Governing law

The laws of India govern these terms.
